Waukesha Man Charged With Child Porn Possession

Suspect is caught after police find he is willing to trade child porn via the Internet, according to a criminal complaint.

A 56-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after police discovered he was keeping child pornography on computers in his home.

John E. Pirelli Sr. was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Courts on Friday with six counts of child pornography. If convicted, he faces up to 150 years in prison and $600,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Jan. 24, Waukesha police investigators discovered a man in Waukesha was willing to distribute child pornography with other computers. On Feb. 1, they executed a search warrant on Pirelli’s home in the 2000 block of Cardinal Drive, where he became frantic and admitted to downloading child pornography.

Pirelli said there were five computers in the home and he had downloaded the porn and tried to erase it at a later time.

He will make his initial appearance June 4.
