On Jan. 12, police observed Hirshinger’s car parked in the 4900 block of West Hampton Avenue along with another car registered to a person from Campbellsport. Because suburban residents often travel to the inner city of Milwaukee to purchase heroin due to the competitive drug market there, police suspected the men were there to buy drugs.

The two men purchased drugs from another unknown person and the officer decided to follow Hirshinger’s car, who was then pulled over and police found the heroin.
