Complaint: Waukesha Man Caught Buying Heroin in Milwaukee
Police bust man after they see his car in the inner city, where suburban residents are known to come and purchase drugs, according to criminal complaint.
A 21-year-old Waukesha man is facing charges after he was caught buying heroin in Milwaukee.
Max L. Hirshinger was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Thursday with one count of possession of a narcotic drug. If convicted, he could face up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
On Jan. 12, police observed Hirshinger’s car parked in the 4900 block of West Hampton Avenue along with another car registered to a person from Campbellsport. Because suburban residents often travel to the inner city of Milwaukee to purchase heroin due to the competitive drug market there, police suspected the men were there to buy drugs.
The two men purchased drugs from another unknown person and the officer decided to follow Hirshinger’s car, who was then pulled over and police found the heroin.
He’s currently free on a $500 signature bond while awaiting trial.
