Waukesha Man Accused of Burglarizing His Dad's Muskego Home

Suspect broke into the house so he could steal $30 in change.

 

A 34-year-old Waukesha man is facing felony charges after he allegedly broke into his dad’s house in Muskego and stole $30 in change.

Timothy A. Brown was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of burglary. If convicted, he faces up to 12 ½ years in prison and $25,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Feb. 8, Muskego police officers were called to a home in the W17400 block of Muskego Drive after a man reported someone breaking into his house. The victim said he left the home at 10:45 a.m. for a meeting and to go to the bank and when he returned about an hour later, the breezeway door was open and broken, and a jar of change was missing.

The victim told police Brown, who is his oldest son, is a heroin addict and had broken into his home five or six years ago. Another son of his also called Brown who admitted to the theft of the coins.

Brown will make his initial appearance in court June 25.

It's sad the things that junkie's will do... Now the guy is facing serious time. It was probably extremely difficult for his dad to drop the dime on him like that, but good for him! Some time in jail just might save his sons life. Or at least extend it some...
