Waukesha Football: West Shut Out; Wins for North, Catholic Memorial

Waukesha South’s second-half scoring couldn’t bring in a win.

 

The 2010 state champions and 2011 conference champions were shut out Friday night by Brookfield East High School. Waukesha West High School couldn’t pull of the  win – or a score – during the non-conference win.

The final score was Brookfield East, 29, Waukesha West, zero.

West hosts Mukwonago High School at home on Friday.

Waukesha West football players Dylan and Dyson Chmura, sons of Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer Mark Chumura, were profiled this past week in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Wins for North, Catholic Memorial; Loss for South

Waukesha North took home the win over Kenosha Indian Trail with a final score of 34-20. The football team next faces Kettle Moraine High School, which is a conference game.

Waukesha South fell to Nicolet High School with a score 14 to 31, with the football team being shut-out in the first half. Waukesha South next faces Catholic Memorial High School.

Catholic Memorial High School dominated in its game over Milwaukee Riverside. Catholic Memorial outscored the Milwaukee high school 43 to 14. Catholic Memorial plays at home Friday.
