Voter Turnout in Waukesha Was 28%
Mitt Romney was the top vote-getter in City of Waukesha. President Barack Obama managed to obtain 1,304 votes.
Twenty-eight percent of registered voters showed up to the polls in the City of Waukesha on Tuesday, according to Clerk/Treasurer Tom Neill.
Unofficial results posted on the county’s website shows that Mitt Romney defeated Rick Santorum for the Republican presidential nomination by 2,168 votes – 5,015 for Romney and 2,847 votes for Santorum.
For the Democratic nomination, President Barack Obama, who is running unopposed obtained 1,304 votes.
