Although there is nothing wrong with the restaurants on the list, I can think of several far better ones in the city of Waukesha. I can`t help but wonder how these restaurants made the list

Tim---I agree
Don't get me wrong I love the occasional gut bomb from the grotto but that does not make them an overall number ONE?
I am glad to see only one chain. Nothing is more embarrassing for a community when they do stuff like voting Red Lobster as the best seafood restaurant. (or Famous Daves as the Best BBQ)
That is like voting for who has the best catsup for a fillet Mignon.

I'm glad that Culvers on Sunset isn't on the list. Cause everytime I go and eat there. I end up with RED MEAT!

I find YELP hard to trust sometimes. For my money I love La Estacion, People's Park, Fuzzys, and Eric's Porter Haus. Good food!

Timothy is right.. there are a lot more restaurants that are better than those on the list. What about Key Westconsin? Michael's on Sunset? I am not impressed with People's Park even tho everyone raves about the place..

Machine Shed? Really? Waukesha is severely lacking in GOOD, family friendly restaurants with some variety! Sometimes you want something besides heavy, greasy foods with no spice or flavor.

As for Machine Shed and Famous Daves,I don't consider any chain retaurant local. Golden Gate is rated in the top 10 of the US - I am glad it made the list. I haven't been to 2 of the ones on the list, but I think they deserve to be there. Everybody will have a different opinion when it come to food though.

Jimmy Grotto's is good, but #1? The inside of the restaurant is GROSS! Im afraid they haven't cleaned the place in years. I am afraid to eat there. It might have foreign matter as an ingredient. I bet the health inspectors would have a field day in there.
Also, their are several great restaurants in Waukesha better then what is in this list.

Chain restaurants should not qualify and I agree with Grottos, Fuzzys and Golden Gate, but where is Eric's and here is a new one Mia's
