Smoke on Oakdale? Fire Department Doing Live Training at Old Farm House

People with respiratory conditions or have medical conditions that are irritated by smoke should close their windows and avoid the training site.

The Waukesha Fire Department will be conducting live training on an old farm house on South Oakdale Road this week.

The property is owned by the School District of Waukesha and will be demolished in October. It’s located near Oakdale and Highway 59.

Individuals with respiratory or medical problems that may be irritated to smoke or other products of combustion are encouraged to close their windows and avoid the areas around this training site.

“The training is vital to allow our firefighters to remain proficient with their skills and keep our community safe,” said Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Johnson.

Training will occur Monday through Wednesday
