Sen. Ron Johnson, Congressman Paul Ryan to Rally in Waukesha Sunday
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus also will take part in rally at GOP campaign headquarters on Pearl Street.
Three key Republican leaders from Wisconsin will stop in Waukesha on Sunday as part of the national “We Did Build This” bus tour spearheaded by the campaign of GOP presidential candidate Matt Romney.
U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson and Reince Priebus, a Wisconsinite who is chairman the Republican National Committee, will headline a rally at 3:30 p.m. at the GOP Victory Center, 1701 Pearl St.
The local stop is part of Romney's nationwide effort to position President Barack Obama as anti-business for a comment he made this month at a campaign event in Virginia.
“If you've got a business — you didn't build that," the Democratic president said. "Someone else made that happen."
On Wednesday, state Sen. Alberta Darling joined local business owners at an event at the Waukesha headquarters in which she called the president's comments “a real kick in the gut” to hardworking business owners and the middle class.
Johnson, Priebus and U.S. Reps. Reid Ribble and Tom Petri will hold a similar rally Sunday morning in Green Bay; and Johnson and Ryan will appear together at an evening event in Janesville.

The Rally marks 100 days until the election that will remove the anti-business Obama from office. There is a reason why unemployment has been above 8% for over 41 months, and he resides in the Whitehouse.

What would the GOP do if they couldn't take Obama out of context?

I have a business and I didn't grow it alone....small business loans, banks, family, friends, business associates and my customers...especially my customers made it happen. So I'm with the president that you can't do this alone. If I did it alone I would still be in the garage working on it.

It's unbelievable to me that anyone would ever believe that starting a successful business is dependent on the government. Yes we have infrastructure directed by the government, but government would never be able to build those roads, bridges, etc. if we the people hadn't paid for them with are hard work !! Only a person who believes in socialism would say something like that. And it is not out of context...his whole speech embodies the idea that everything comes from the government..HOGWASH!
