Report: Waukesha County Election Night Problems a $256K Fix
After several controversial elections handled by Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus, the cost to fix the problems is $256,000, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The cost to fix the many election night problems in the Waukesha County Clerk’s office is coming at a high price tag.
The investigation and the solution to the problems was conducted by consulting firms will cost Waukesha County about $256,000, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article.
The investigation “found only errors and poor procedures, with no evidence of fraud,” the Journal Sentinel states.
Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus has been subject to high scrutiny after controversial election nights the past two years. Her office came under fire for lengthy delays in processing and posting results in the April 3 elections. Some results weren't available until 10 hours after the polls closed.
She also was was criticized for not posting results online by community in the April 2010 state Supreme Court race, in which the entire City of Brookfield votes were left out of the county's total results on election night. The error flipped the winner in the razor-thin election from Kloppenburg, who had declared victory, to Prosser.
Nickolaus announced in April that she would not seek election in the fall.

What a scam gov. is. Do they not already have internal salary paid staff that can "investigate" things. Do we not have a GAB? The only shining part is that $260K of tax payer money is given back to the private sector, it's rightful owner.
Now if they would head down to Racine, they will actually find fraud. Which is being swept under the rug by the MSM.

Gimme a break, $250K to fix what problem?
A post it note with "don't forget to hit save" was all that was needed!
A second worker entering the numbers would also safeguard against errors- at a cost of a couple hundred bucks if paying overtime.
The GAB could find ways to screw up a wet dream!
