Report: Money Never Given to Organization from Fundraiser

Money was to be given to wounded soldiers, according to WISN report.

A Memorial Day fundraiser that was held at Master Z’s Cue Club  to assist the Wounded Warrior Project ended up with no donations being given to the organization, according to a report by WISN 12.

Master Z’s owner Ken Zettelmeier told the TV station he felt scammed by the event organizers because money didn’t go to the cause. The event organizers turned the blame on Master Z’s for not charging a cover to get into the event. Zettelmeier told the TV station that those who came to the bar that day who weren’t planning on going to a fundraiser were allowed in without paying the cover.

The fundraiser organizer told the TV station that there were no proceeds from the event, therefore there could be no donation given to the Wounded Warrior Project. For more information about the fundraiser dispute, read the article on WISN.com.

Information promoting the three-day fundraiser in May was posted on the bar’s Facebook page.

Interesting. I once saw a person with the Master Z's at Walgreen's parked in a handicapped spot without a tag or disabled plate. Maybe there is more to the story than Master Z's is telling. Maybe, just maybe, it was a ploy to get business for Master Z's. I don't know but we should get more info.
