Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Kretschmer, a destroyer escort. He worked for Briggs and Stratton for many years retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Richard very much enjoyed his friends and neighbors and he adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joyce Marie Schirmacher
After growing up in England and attending school there, Joyce came to America and met and married Harold Schirmacher on July 29, 1950, in Waukesha. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2011. She worked for many years at the Waukesha County Home as a nursing assistant.
Donald J. Holden
Donald enjoyed hunting and loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed spending time with his favorite dog Duke.
Harold Charles Ernest Boettcher
Harold worked on the family farm until 1963 when he went to work for Dairy Belt Feed & Seed Company. In 1975 Harold began working for the Waukesha School District as a custodian until his retirement in June of 1991. Along with his wife, Harold has been a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church since 1963. He was an avid gardener and always had a love for farming. Above all his greatest joy was spending time with his family and telling them “I love you, a bushel and a peck, a hug around the neck.”
Joseph had been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Waukesha since 1971. He loved to garden and be outdoors. Joseph enjoyed golfing and loved to walk. He will be remembered for being a devoted husband and father.
