Police Report: Woman Asks Police to Arrest Her Because She Wanted to Prostitute Herself

Waukesha Police Department calls from Monday.

 

A woman asked police to arrest her to keep her from prostituting herself after feeling lonely and being unable to sleep. Police advised a woman, who claimed she had four or five vodka-based drinks, to go to a restaurant, eat food and talked to people after she called police in the 1000 block of Delafield Street at 10:07 p.m. Monday. She asked the officers to arrest her, but they did not observe any signs of anxiety or intoxication.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

• A suspicious man was reported saying strange religious things to people in a business at 12:30 p.m. in the 200 block of West Main Street. Police advised the man to not go in the business unless he had business-related purposes there. The man told police he was trying to wake people up to what was going on in the world.

• A juvenile was cited for truancy at 12:47 p.m. Monday at Waukesha West High School, 3301 Saylesville Road.

• A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 12:57 p.m. Monday at Waukesha North High School, 2222 Michigan Ave.

• A man was arrested after Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., reported having problems with the man stealing video games at 1:52 p.m. Monday.

• Two juvenile girls were reported to be jumping on thin ice on the Fox River in the 800 block of Riverwalk Drive. The girls left the area before police arrived.

• A pedestrian was hit by a car at 4:13 p.m. Monday at Riverfront Plaza and North Barstow Street. The woman hit her head on the ground.

• The theft of video game systems and video games was reported at 5:54 p.m. Monday from Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave.

• Two intoxicated patrons at The Clarke Hotel, 314 W. Main St., flooded a room at 6:06 p.m. Monday, causing water damage to the hotel and restaurant. The issue is a civil matter.

• A man who had warrants out for his arrest was taken into custody after a possible domestic disturbance was reported at 6:14 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Gascoigne Drive.

• A person was arrested after it was reported at 7:20 p.m. Monday he stole a bottle of liquor from the 900 block of North Barstow Street. An employee of the store chased down the suspect until police arrived.

• A person was arrested during a domestic disturbance after it was reported a man locked a woman out of an apartment at 8:39 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of East North Street.
