Police Report: Snowman Stolen; OWI Arrests; Thefts

Waukesha Police Department calls from Dec. 1 and Dec. 2.

 

The following information was supplied by the Waukesha Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • Graffiti was reported at 9:21 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Street.
  • A theft of a purse on a bus was reported at 12:06 p.m. Thursday at Silvernail Road and Meadow Lane.
  • A person was arrested after a car hit a tree at 12:25 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Waterview Lane. A drug recognition expert was called to the scene.
  • An intoxicated man who was swearing at people at 12:39 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East St. Paul Avenue was moved along.
  • A man was reportedly asking for rides at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Friedman Drive. The man was gone before police arrived.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 3:50 p.m. Thursday at Horning Middle School.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 4:33 p.m. Thursday at Oakdale and West Sunset drives after hitting a traffic pole. A drug recognition expert was called to the scene.
  • Police drove a woman who was lost on her walk back to the group home where she lived at 5:42 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A theft a snowman lawn ornament was reported at 7:53 p.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Dixie Drive.
  • People were advised to keep the noise down at 8:10 p.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of Welsh Court during a party. While police did not observe noise, the people admitted they had been loud earlier.
  • A theft of liquor was reported at 8:18 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A woman reported that another person became mad at her because she was unable to move her vehicle while in line at a drive through at 8:28 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of South West Avenue. The person reportedly swore at her and punched her window but no formal complaint was wished.
  • Police took a person into custody on a warrant at 8:46 p.m. Thursday while investigating a theft complaint at White Rock Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard.
  • People were advised on noise after a loud band was playing in a garage in the 300 block of Oakland Avenue at 9:16 p.m. Thursday.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:25 a.m. Friday at North West and Wisconsin avenues.
