Police Report: Narcotics Violation at Health Center and an Argument Over a Piece of Pizza

Waukesha Police Department calls from Jan. 26 and Jan. 27

 

The following calls were made to the Waukesha Police Department:

• The theft of a purse was reported at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of East Sunset Drive.

• A juvenile was arrested for criminal damage to property at 10:11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lauer Center, 1515 Paramount Drive.

• Graffiti was reported on a sign at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday at Northview and Pebble Valley roads.

• A woman was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after striking a vehicle and leaving the scene of the accident at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at South and North Barstow streets.

• An iPod was reported stolen from Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Robert Ave. at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday.

• An employee at Westbrook Health Center, 2315 E. Moreland Blvd., was terminated and police were contacted at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday about a narcotics violation. Needles, cocaine and forged prescriptions were confiscated.

• The theft of an iPod was reported during a photography class at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday at  Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave.

• A woman was arrested and taken to the transit center after it was reported she was refusing to leave at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday Hebron House of Hospitality, 812 N. East Ave., and was getting physical with the staff.

• A possible domestic disturbance was reported at 6:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Third Street. A caller heard screaming and yelling, as well as things being thrown around. When police responded it was determined it was only a verbal argument because one person ate the other person’s pizza.

• An arrest was made after a car hit a tree at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of West Main Street. It was reported the individuals were involved. Another caller reported the people were physically fighting and one person tried to drive away from the scene with the other person hanging out of the window.

• A man was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:59 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of East St. Paul Avenue.

• Two people were arrested for stealing scrap metal from a business in the 400 block of Travis Lane at 2:15 a.m. Thursday.

• Salt that was being applied to the sidewalks in front of a building in the 200 block of  East Sunset Drive bounced off the sidewalk and tapped the glass window of  the business at 5:21 a.m. Thursday. The building’s glass-break alarm sounded, prompting a police response although there was no broken glass.
