Police Report: Man Upset with ‘Obama bin Laden’ Calls Police, Says Landlord Harassing Him
Waukesha Police Department calls from Wednesday and early Thursday.
A man called police at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday to report that he felt his apartment manager was harassing him by notifying him about an apartment inspection in the 2400 block of Silvernail Road. The man also told police dispatch he was upset by “Obama bin Laden’ and felt the “new regime in Madison will fix it.” Police informed the man the landlord had given enough notice for the apartment inspection.

• A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after it was reported at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday that he was intoxicated and nearly getting hit by cars at North West and Wisconsin avenues.
• A disorderly incident was reported at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday at Waukesha West High School, 3301 Saylesville Road.
• Multiple garages were reported at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday to be burglarized in the 1500 block of Pewaukee Road.
• A man passed out at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., after “road tripping” by taking an energy drink mixed with alcohol. The man told police he wanted to try it before it became illegal. The man was advised to not be at the library while under the influence of intoxicants.
• A 15-year-old was arrested and taken to shelter care after it was reported the juvenile was being uncontrollable in the 1200 block of North Bel-ayr Drive.
• A woman was arrested for retail theft at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of East Sunset Drive.
• The theft of items was reported at 9:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Buena Vista Avenue.
• A man was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Moreland Boulevard.
• A person was arrested on a warrant in the 500 block of Glenwood Drive after a possible domestic disturbance was reported at 12:20 p.m. Thursday. Police determined the disturbance was a verbal argument only.
• Two people were arrested after officers were flagged down at North West and Wisconsin avenues about a physical altercation at 2:04 a.m. Thursday.
• A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported at 8:18 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Randall Street.
• A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 8:40 a.m. Thursday at Waukesha West High School, 3301 Saylesville Road.
