Police Report: Burglaries; Stolen Gun; Fraud

Waukesha Police Department calls from July 17 to July 20.

 

The following information was supplied by the Waukesha Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday at Camden Way and East Sunset Drive.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Waukesha West High School.
  • A landlord in the 2600 block of North University Drive reported at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday that he was being slandered on www.waukeshaapartments.com. Police referred the incident to a mediation center.
  • An iPhone that was reported stolen in Illinois was tracked to an address near Dopp Street and Greenwood Avenue at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday. There was no one at the door and the suspect turned off the phone.
  • Three men were reportedly selling meat out of an ice-filled cooler at 1:24 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen and Birch drives.
  • Power tools and assorted appliances were stolen during a burglary in the 100 block of Arcadian Avenue at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday.
  • A person was reportedly stealing electricity from a neighbor at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Dodie Drive.
  • A vehicle was reportedly paintballed during a bachelor party prank at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100  block of South Grand Avenue.
  • Two people were arrested on warrants at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mccall Street and North East Avenue.
  • A man was arrested for violating electronic monitoring at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A man reported at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of North Grandview Boulevard that his mother gave away his vehicle while he was incarcerated for four years. The man was advised that the issue was a civil matter.
  • A bicyclist reportedly hit a parked van at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday at North Grand Avenue and South Street.
  • Three bikes were stolen from a yard in the 1800 block of Oakdale Drive at 8:29 p.m. Tuesday.
  • An arrest was made at 10:43 p.m. Tuesday after a fight was reported in the 1600 block of East Main Street. One man was taken to the hospital as he felt like he was having a seizure, but later he was becoming uncooperative at the hospital.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported that a man was passed out by the road in the 900 block of Pleasant Street at 12:23 a.m. Wednesday.
  • An arrest was made after intoxicated college students were refusing to leave a yard at 2:13 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Charles Street.
  • A person was reportedly taking aluminum cans from recycling bins at 6:17 a.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Jan Avenue.
  • A theft of 27 wedding cards was reported at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday at the Country Springs Hotel.
  • A theft of money and prescription medication was reported at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday at North Grand Avenue and Williams Street.
  • A theft of prescription medication was reported at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Kilps Drive.
  • A woman in the 1100 block of Delafield Street reported at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday that a man she started dating from church threatened to post a video of them having sex online.
  • A man reported at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday that he believed his car was stolen in the 2100 block of East Moreland Boulevard. The man had exited a store out of a different set of doors and later located the vehicle.
  • A woman was arrested at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday after she screaming at a residence in the 2200 block of Bluff Court. She was trying to get into the home to see her boyfriend. After she was taken into custody, she tried to kick out the squad car windows.
  • A burglary in the 400 block of North East Avenue was reported at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A teller reported at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday that a Spanish-speaking man who either said he planned to rob her or to have sex with her. Police were requested to check the area of the 2500 block of North Grandview Boulevard at closing time.
  • An arrest was made after a woman reported that she believed her 14-year-old son had stolen her debit card at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Scott Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after it was reported he was backing up and pulling forward several times at 5:01 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North Hine Avenue.
  • Juveniles were reportedly being disorderly at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Spring Street.
  • A small fire created minimal damage at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Coronado Street. The fire was put out with a hose.
  • A theft of medications was reported at 11:47 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Summit Avenue.
  • Police were asked to assist a woman who needed to take her dog to the vet to put down at 3:14 a.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Butler Drive. The dog was too heavy for the woman to lift.
  • An electric keyboard was stolen during a burglary reported at 10:57 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Cook Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 11:15 a.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • A person was arrested on a probation warrant at 1:13 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 bock of West Sunset Drive.
  • A theft of rings was reported at 1:55 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Kensinton Drive.
  • Items were stolen during a garage burglary reported at 3:39 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Carroll Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 4:41 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 5:27 p.m. Thursday in the 90 block of Eales Avenue.
  • A person was cited for open intoxicants at Cutler Park at 6:44 p.m. Thursday.
  • A man was upset over his neighbor’s noise at 8:44 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Macarthur Road and threatened to have his  "6-foot 5-inches tall and 270-pound son come over and take care of it" if the police won't do anything. Police noted there was no noise.
  • A missing juvenile was taken into custody and another arrest was made after a man in the 1300 block of South West Avenue reported that his gun was stolen from his bedroom safe at 10:06 p.m. Thursday.
  • A confused, elderly man showed up at a residence in the 1800 block of Kensington Drive at 11:04 p.m. Thursday. The man was returned to the staff at a nearby assisted living facility.
  • A caller reported having problems with vagrants sleeping in the hallway of a building in the 100 block of West Broadway at 11:31 p.m. Thursday.
  • A carnival worker from the Waukesha County Fair reported at 2:05 a.m. Friday that he saw a fraudulent $1,700 purchase in his checking account that occurred in Illinois.
  • A theft of a trailer was reported at 6:02 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of South Greenfield Avenue.

Holy cow all this crap is out of control the stealing of medicine is getting bad in Waukesha all the people taking pills geez!
