The Waukesha Police Department is investigating an incident after a person pointed a BB gun at woman, prompting police to conduct a high-risk traffic stop Friday afternoon near Dunbar and Maple avenues.
Officers responded to the area with some tactical gear as they were treating the traffic stop as a weapon call.
“We are always going to treat it as if it is a real gun,” Sgt. Jerry Habanek said.
Police could be heard on scene ordering someone out of the vehicle. WISN 12 is reporting that three people were arrested.
