This is sad. There are many person's suffering with brain chemistry disorders. It is so sad to see a person give up all hope. We, as a society need to be better prepared and willing to help those in need. Not just those whose "baby daddies" just keep pushing out kids so society can take care of their "problems".

@Carl... what was that? This is a very tragic situation and to turn it into a social / political statement is very crass. I agree with Sunnie, my sympathies are with the family... who know what they suffered or deal with before this was done.

It is a sad situation. I agree that less money needs to be spent on welfare rats and more on mental health to help people regain hope and see life in whole. very sad situation, thoughts go out to the family.

Maybe he didn't have a family....maybe that was just one of his many, many problems. Sadly, if people want to end their lives, they will always find a way.

His wife had just died a few weeks earlier and he was depressed, really wanting to be with her again.
