Families gathered Saturday afternoon as the community celebrated the start of fall during the 25th annual Apple Harvest Festival at Retzer Nature Center.

The family-friendly event featured music, tours, crafts, demonstrations, hayrides and food. About 50 varieties of apples were for sale at the event in the apple market and the event was expected to draw more than 4,000 people.

I like the scarecrow picture with the crowd around it out of focus! Nice!

This was a real treat. Well organized. A nice mix of things to see and do and hear (great live music). Spent some money on some nice crafts. This is a re-do next year for sure!
