Pewaukee Woman Charged With Breaking Into Waukesha Home
Suspect admits breaking into her mother's home while she's out at a Bible study, according to criminal complaint.
A 24-year-old Pewaukee woman is facing charges for burglarizing her mother’s Waukesha home while she was at bible study.
Dana Q. Kaymen was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Thursday with one count of burglary and one count of theft. If convicted, she faces up to 13 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint:
On March 22, the victim was at Bible study for two hours and when she came back to her home in the 500 block of Beechwood Avenue, she discovered numerous jewelry items were missing. A neighbor informed investigators he saw Kaymen enter the home while the victim was gone.
The victim said Kaymen is her daughter and she had lived with her until November. However, the woman told police Kaymen is a heroin addict and would bring drug dealers to the home, which the mother didn’t like.
Kaymen admitted to the burglary saying she pawned the stolen items at a Waukesha pawn shop.
She will make her initial appearance in court July 2.
