Paul Farrow Officially Wins State Senate Race
Pewaukee assemblyman will replace former Sen. Rich Zipperer.
State Rep. Paul Farrow officially was elected as senator for the 33rd District.
The Pewaukee Republican was the only candidate on the ballot for Tuesday’s special election. Farrow, who was elected to his second term in the state Assembly in November, received 6,853 votes while 181 votes were for write-in candidates.
Results are unofficial until canvassing.
Farrow, who beat Republican Chris Kapenga in the primary election in November, will replace State Sen. Rich Zipperer after Zipperer resigned to take a top position with Gov. Scott Walker’s administration.
