National Signing Day: Waukesha Athletes Commit to Universities

Dylan Chmura, a standout Waukesha West High School tight end, officially signed his papers to play football at Michigan State University next fall.

Chmura is the son of Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer Mark Chmura. He is among nearly a dozen students from Waukesha high schools who signed their commitment papers to universities and colleges where they intend to continue competing following their high school graduation this fall.

Waukesha South High School

Brad Woodford officially committed to University of Minnesota where he is receiving a scholarship for 30 percent of tuition to run track and cross country. Brad said he liked the team and the college, which helped him make his decision in December. Brad also was attracted by the Minnesota campus because he likes to ski.
