Mom Sentenced to Probation on Drug Charge
Court records state that Allison Kircher used her toddler to help facilitate drug deals in Waukesha.
A 25-year-old mother who was accused of dealing drugs with her toddler will spend three years on probation after she pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge Thursday.
Allison Kircher, of Okauchee, is ordered to perform 20 hours of community service and to not possess any credit cards or financial cards. She also has to maintain full-time school or employment, not possess or use alcohol or drugs, comply with juvenile court orders and take a financial course. The court will reserve right for the record to be expunged, according to the online court records.
The Waukesha Police Department provided Waukesha Patch with a video it says is of Kircher selling drugs while her toddler wanders near the vehicle, at times hitting the vehicle with a small stick.
Kircher was accused of having her toddler hand the drugs to a confidential informant working with the Waukesha Police Department, according to a criminal complaint.
In exchange for her guilty plea to felony possession of narcotic drugs, five other felony charges – including using a child to distribute drugs – were dismissed but read-in. Because they were read-in, the judge was able to consider the circumstances in those charges while constructing the sentence.
Five felony financial-related charges were dismissed for a separate case after she was accused of stealing a woman’s check card at the Waukesha County Jail and making more than $800 in purchases at area stores with the card. Kircher is ordered to pay restitution to the victim in that case as a term of her probation.

So she plead guilty to one felony and gets 5 free ones. The only real penalty she is getting here is that the records will show up on ccap and prevent her from making an honest living for the rest of her life. What a backwards state we live in...

Only until she gets married, and gets a new last name.

Johnny you really need to read a bit better you must have missed the part in the article where "The court will reserve right for the record to be expunged" Sounds like a reason for her to comply with the court orders and probation rules.

Expunged? Good god I somehow had missed that! Who gets a get out of jail free card on SIX felonies? The DA is either corrupt or asleep at the wheel here...

And you are defending her why? Our young people are dying at an alarming rate due to these drugs, and they just convicted someone of dealing them with a toddler in tow and let her off with no jail time whatsoever. Probation is not a get serious approach to either drug dealing or credit card fraud, of which she was guilty of both. There was nothing mitigating here whatsoever-- she should be doing 3-5 years right now.
Or perhaps you are objecting to my ccap comment... But to that I would argue that the general principle behind crime and punishment is to punish the offenders and then let them return to become functioning members of society, which she cannot and still couldn't very easily even if ALL of the charges had been dismissed.
