Man Accused of Dealing Drugs Near Waukesha Schools

Suspect sold drugs near Waukesha South High School and Horning Middle School on two occasions, according to criminal complaint.

 

A Waukesha man is facing felony charges after he sold marijuana to a police informant on two occasions near area schools, according to a criminal complaint.

Joshua A. Kinder, 19, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Tuesday with one count of manufacture and delivery of THC near a school and one count of manufacture and delivery of THC. If convicted, he could face up to seven years in prison and $20,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Feb. 11, 2011, an informant set up a drug deal with Kinder where investigators would purchase a quarter ounce of marijuana. The informant and undercover investigators picked up Kinder at his home in the 1400 block of Oakdale Drive, drove to a business parking lot near Waukesha South High School and conducted the deal with another man.

On Feb. 21, 2011, investigators set up another deal with Kinder where he sold investigators more marijuana in front of a home near Horning Middle School.

Kinder was interviewed by police in July where he admitted to selling the drugs to investigators.

He’s scheduled to make his initial appearance in court Jan. 30.
