Man Charged With Running Down Walmart Customer
Suspect, 69, hit the victim with his car, then intentionally rammed him again while standing in front of his car to keep him from fleeing the scene, according to a criminal complaint.
A 69-year-old Waukesha man is facing felony charges after he allegedly hit a man twice with his car in the parking lot of Walmart.
Ronald D. Wolf was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Wednesday with one count of second-degree reckless endangerment of safety. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
On Dec. 17, the victim parked his car in the parking lot of Walmart and was walking to the entrance of the store when Wolf came up and hit him from behind. The victim began to yell at Wolf and tried to stand in front of his car so he couldn’t leave the scene, but Wolf accelerated into the man and drove with him on the hood for 5 to 10 feet.
Wolf will make his initial appearance in court April 9.
