Man Accused of Hitting Mutt's Bartender
A 21-year-old Waukesha man admits being in a fight, but denies hitting bartender, according to a criminal complaint.
A 21-year-old Waukesha man is accused of punching a bartender during an altercation at Mutt’s Tavern.
Earskine L. Chapman was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
At 4:40 p.m. Dec. 6, Waukesha police officers were called to Mutt’s for an altercation that occurred at the tavern. A female bartender said two customers began to fight. After she broke it up and escorted one man to the door, he turned around and punched her in the head and arms.
Officers found Chapmen nearby and he admitted being in a fight at the bar, but denied punching the bartender. Chapman did say he was sorry and had a blood alcohol level of 0.11 percent at the time of the incident.
He will make his initial appearance in court Jan. 14.

Hi ... I am " The Bartender" , I find this ti be laughable! He Gets Charged with Disorderly Conduct!?! He said He's SORRY?? Being that I WAS THERE, I know I got HIT MORE THAN ONCE! The Police Officers couldn't have been any nicer, plus VERY PROFESIONAL! I CAN'T say that much thus far about the DA! The PHOTOS of my BRUISES, SCRATCHES etc ... did he SEE THOSE? the WITNESS STATEMENTS???? I have been a FULL TIME BARTENDER in the City of Waukesha for OVER 30 YEARS! I have NEVER experienced anything even close to this! I DO NOT HAVE A RECORD! does HE? HE said HE'S SORRY? so ... that makes it OKAY for HIM TO PHYSICALLY ASSAULT ME? SHAME ON YOU DA! where IS the JUSTICE? Certinally NOT on MY SIDE ( the VICTIM ) WOW ... Thank's TO THE OFFICERS! I appreciate there PROMPT PROFESSIONAL WORK that they DID ... UPDATE .... I called left a Voice Mail for the "ADA" ( who is IN CHARGE of this matter ) and SAD to report ... NO CALL BACK !!
