Magellans, a pizza place and bar in downtown Waukesha, has knocked down the wall between its two buildings, creating one large open space for one bar.

The wall separated Magellans and Magellans 2 on Main Street. With the wall gone, the two places are combined.

The change, which was permitted by the city’s building inspector, will allow the bar/restaurant to expand by 12 tables and 30 chairs including indoor and outdoor seating, according to Magellans owner Dan Italiano.

The wall came down last week and renovations are continuing. However, everything’s up and running for the Freeman Friday Night Live and Waukesha GuitarTown kick off this weekend.
