I'm a conservative & would like to give reasons why I'm for the recall.
1. He obviously didn't run on this originally of he wouldn't have won in this blue State.
2. If you're for State's Rights you wouldn't be interfering in this election from outside.
3. If you're not for State's Rights then you should be influencing Senate races from outside instead, start with Zach Poskevich who should replace Rino Bob Corker in Tennessee on Aug.2nd.

As a Californian who once worked for the State as a firefighter working for less than 50 cents an hour at 120 hours a week with 2 days off and no benefits compared to private industry, it took 40 years of hard struggle to fight for decent benefits that realized human dignity. What Walker did therefore was an act of war against the common decency & human rights of all people who work hard for a living to raise a family & survive.

Walker represents clearly a social Darwinist approach to organize human affairs with no regard for human dignity. How any Wisconsin person could ever vote against their own self-interest by allowing him to remain in office would be a greater tragedy and used as fuel to boilerplate a national Republican effort to dismantle the "Social Contract" and the proper role of public services.

I hope Barrett invited Kloppy to the results party, as maybe she'll declare victory for him, despite Walker holding a 8+ point lead!

And did you see the motley looking crowd on the Ed Show tonight!!! When he went into the crowd, the first 5 people he talked to were ALL union stooges from out-of-state! Looked like it caught old Ed off guard!

This entire fiasco is a horrendous attack, yes attack, on our democracy. This duly elected official did not break any laws or commit any heinous immoral acts that would warrant his recall. Recalls should be reserved and used only in cases like that. To have a recall election solely based upon politics is despicable and tarnishes our democracy. If you don't like the politics of someone, you can "recall" them at the appointed election cycle. What does this lead to if Walker is recalled. I guarantee you that opposition to new Governor will begin immediately and heck might as well start his recall too. This is an atrocity and the state of WI should be ashamed of itself

I can't believe you do not clue in. The unions are no longer for the employees. The bosses get fatter at the expense of the employees and companies. They are no better than the mob demanding 'protection pay' from businesses in communities. These days there are laws in place that protect the workers. Public service workers need to keep in mind that civil service was NEVER meant to be a profitable career. It was, at one point in time, an honor to serve as a public 'servant' or servant of the people. Now - folks think it is a means towards a high salary and benefits OFF THE BACKS of Taxpayers who do not make that much in the first place.
If you do not believe this - stop and think about your FIRST paycheck you received. Let's say you made $5/hour and worked 40 hours. You expected a $200 paycheck and instead wound up with less than $150.00. That is $200 less per month than you calculated for expenses. So, why should you give even more (let's say $90/week in taxes) which is what public employees expect non-public employees to do.

What I took away from the night was what a normal, humble person Scott is. Before the speech I was thinking how amazing it is that such a normal guy could make such hard decisions.
