Hartland Sex Offender to Live in Town of Genesee

A 27-year-old convicted sex offender will be living at S43W28760 Highway 59 in the Town of Genesee upon his release, according to a news release from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
Thomas V. Sciano, who will turn 28 next week, is convicted of sexually assaulting children at different parks. A 2003 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article reports he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl at Hartland Elementary School after chasing away bullies who were throwing rocks at her.
Sciano also has incidents of exposing himself and inappropriate touching, according to the news release. Some of his victims were not acquaintances.

Mr. Sciano will be enrolled in the Electronic Monitoring Program (EMP) and the Global Positioning System (GPS). He will have a Direct Supervised Escort, approved by the Department of Corrections anytime he will be outside the residence for a period of one year.
He is to have no unsupervised contact with minors unless approved by the Department of Corrections, no contact with taverns/bars/liquor stores, no contact with his victims, and he cannot consume alcohol or illegal drugs. He is to comply with standard sex offender rules and cooperate with electronic monitoring. He is required to have face-to-face contact with law enforcement for registration purposes, to comply with all requirements, and is a lifetime registrant of Wisconsin’s Sex Offender Registration Program www.offender.doc.state.wi.us.

Because we're not savages who lock up people who break the law forever.
Its always baffling how people get up in arms over sex offenders getting released, when offenders who have killed via drunk driving are being released all the time after serving their time without as much as a peep from the public.

It's a "newer" private residence way back off STH 59 that I believe is having financial troubles, and so may be up for foreclosure or something. The property itself used to be part of a larger stone quarry many, many years ago. Use the County GIS and you can find out exactly where the property is using either the tax key or the address!

Im sorry but I grew up with Thomas,also went to school with him and was engaged to him and visited him when he was locked up.he didnt just go up to kids and be a sicko from what I was told.I was told the girl kissed him and he touched her chest and she told her mom who reported it or something.He was always misunderstood and I know the troubles he had to face in his life before he even got convicted.Hes is not a monster! many people are but he is not.
