Furry Friends: Monty the Python

Waukesha Patch highlights each week an animal available for adoption at Humane Animal Welfare Society.

Monty The Python, a boa constrictor who has been at Humane Animal Welfare Society since Oct. 12, is seeking owners with reptile experience. The 11-year-old snake was surrended to H.A.W.S. after the owner’s landlord gave the owner 24 hours to get rid of the pet.

Waukesha Patch highlights each week an animal available for adoption at HAWS, but the animals featured may not be available for adoption by the time of publication.

To start the adoption process with H.A.W.S., you need to fill out an application. The application is available online or at the shelter on Northview Road. Pre-requisites of adoption are: be at least 18 years old, provide verifiable identification, provide proof of home ownership or landlord's permission and consent of adults at residence.
