Funeral Services Set for Andy Niebler

Visitation and funeral will be held Sunday for 12-year-old who died from brain cancer.

Andy Niebler, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, surrounded by his loving family at his home, at the age of 12 years old, after a courageous year-long battle with brain cancer.

Andy was born on Aug. 31, 1998, to David and Mary Beth (nee Bollom) Niebler. Andy loved playing baseball and tennis. He was a member of the Waukesha Firebirds baseball team. Andy was an avid reader, loved putting together Lego projects and playing video games. Andy’s great sense of humor and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew him.

Andy will be lovingly missed by his parents, David and Mary Beth; his sisters, Hannah and Celia; his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Penny Bollom of Green Bay; his paternal grandparents, Dr. Charles and Carol Niebler of Hartland; many other family members and friends.

A visitation for Andy will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011, from 1 p.m. until the 4 p.m. service at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, 642 Main St., Pewaukee, WI 53072. Interment will be on Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, in appreciation of the great care Andy received this past year, his family would request any donations to be made to Children’s Hospitals Foundation, P.O. Box 1997 MS3050, Milwaukee, WI 53201 or to the MACC Fund, 10000 W. Innovation Dr., Milwaukee, WI 53226.
