Fox River Floods Sidewalk in Downtown Waukesha

Is spring just around the corner? The high water level of the Fox River in Downtown Waukesha would suggest the snow is melting.

It might just be a sign that spring is around the corner.

The water levels of the Fox River are high, causing sidewalks to be temporary closed on the riverwalk in downtown Waukesha.

The ducks are happy to have extra room to play – and the increased water levels mean spring is just around the corner as levels rise with the melting snow.

But no worries, the river’s level isn’t quite as high as it was during the flooding in June 2008.
