The Waukesha firefighters are the proud champions of the second annual Police and Fire Basketball Challenge, despite the Waukesha police officers’ best efforts to take home a second victory.

The final score was 62 to 48, leaving a win for both teams since the fundraiser basketball game first began in 2011. The game was held at Catholic Memorial High School.

The game, which is established by the Waukesha Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, was a fundraiser, in addition to being a good time for friends, families and community members. The proceeds from the event will benefit a burn victim camp in East Troy, the Special Olympics of Wisconsin and the WCPAAA.
