Explosive Device Found During Search Warrant

Waukesha Police Department found device in the 1300 block of Falls Court.

 

The Waukesha Police Department located an improvised explosive device while serving a search warrant in the 1300 block of Falls Court around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad responded to remove this item. It was detonated at a remote location, according to Sgt. Jerry Habanek.

The investigation is ongoing.

That looks like a training grenade.

Training grenade. It still has some blue on it. And there's a hole in the bottom. Of course, the small charge they use inside them can still take a finger off if you hold it over the hole.
