Contractor Arrested After City Hall Disturbance

Man was upset over building permit issues and barged into mayor's office, according to Waukesha police.

A 61-year-old man who owns Turn-Key Homes was arrested Friday afternoon after creating a disturbance at City Hall, according to Waukesha Police Sgt. Jerry Habanek.

“He was enraged by the building inspector’s office because he wasn’t able to get a permit that he applied for in June,” Habanek said.

The man went into and demanded to speak with the mayor. The mayor’s receptionist informed the man he would need an appointment. That’s when the man saw Scrima working in his office and barged through the door, Habanek said.
