Complaint: Man Tries to Claim Home on Behalf of Allah
Suspect wakes up New Berlin homeowners Sunday morning and informs them he's claiming the house as his own, then drives off on a bicycle, according to criminal complaint.
A 28-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges in Waukesha County Circuit Court after he allegedly went to a New Berlin home, woke up the family and told them he was claiming the house “on behalf of Allah” Sunday morning.
According to the criminal complaint, at 7:14 a.m. Sunday, Makhonjwa Mashoba rang the doorbell of a home in the 5700 block of South Dunvegan and waited on the porch until someone came to the door. When a man living at the residence came to the door, he found Mashoba with his back to him and arms extended, saying “he was taking over the house in the name of Allah” and that “this was Ted Woods house and the house was now his.”
The man then slammed the door on Mashoba and called the cops. Mashoba then walked around aimlessly on the front yard of the home until he got onto a bicycle and left, the complaint states.
Police found Mashoba near Barton Road and Mill Creek Trail several minutes later and arrested him. Mashoba refused to cooperate with the officer, who was only able to find his name after searching a Bible he had on him at the time of the arrest.
Mashoba told police he’s a vagrant of sorts and lives under a bridge. Police discovered he also has pending charge in Milwaukee County for another incident occurring there on Aug. 26.

It is so sad that some many mentally ill people have to live on the street without having the medications which could in many cases allow them to lead a somewhat normal life.
Thanks to NAMI , St. Aemilian-Lakeside, Inc.and other people who assist our mentally ill persons.

You guys are funny, thanks. And Mike is absolutely correct in that medication for the mentally ill is often a good idea. We are all different by design, and just as the many plants of a rainforest use differing measure and combination of resource to thrive as an efficient whole, so should man learn to celebrate his own diversity. That said, I claimed the house in the name of "Makhonjwa Theodore Mashoba," I was more interested in my grandma's raspberries in the back, and frankly, I was out of my mind. Which is why I question the Waukesha wisdom of putting me in solitary for a month (I mean, really, doesn't anybody think it strange they found my name in my BIBLE and not a Koran??). -Makho Mashoba
