The City of Waukesha’s 2013 executive budget will be introduced to the Finance Committee Thursday night, but the budget review is already running behind schedule.

The proposed 2013 budget was supposed to be completed by Sept. 28. However, it won’t be completed until next week. The aldermen on the Finance Committee will get their first look at the plan on Thursday.

The budget schedule calls for final adoption on Nov. 20.

Also going before the Finance Committee is a $650,000 tax incremental financing incentive agreement for Gaco Western’s 80,000-square-foot expansion. The project will be paid off through the increased property taxes generated by the expansion.

Gaco Western is expected to add 18 jobs after the expansion is completed.
