Car Drives Into Fox River

Man arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving in downtown Waukesha.

A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving late Friday night after a car broke through a fence and landed in the Fox River near downtown Waukesha.

Firefighters and police officers responded to the 900 block of Friedman Drive where the car was in the water at 11:32 p.m. Friday.

A tow truck company was called to remove the vehicle from the Fox River.
