Bogus Call: Weigh in On Packers Loss

After M.D. Jennings of the Green Bay Packers and Gold Tate of the Seattle Seahawks simultaneously caught the football in the endzone during Monday Night Football, we want to know, do you think the replacement referees made a bogus call?

As the twitter-sphere blows up and Facebook is flooded with comments about the Green Bay Packer's loss to the Seattle Seahawks during Monday Night Football, Aaron Rodgers nine sacks and the final call that lost the game for the Pack, we want to hear what you think:

Was the final touchdown judgment a bad call?

Also, take our poll and share what you think should happen with the referring situation in the NFL in the comments section below!

Here's what a few of the players are saying in the Twitter-sphere:

GregJennings: #NFL C'MON MAN! Can't even be upset anymore. All I can do is laugh. Laugh at the #NFL for allowing America's game to come this. WOW!

TJLang70: Any player/coach in Seattle that really thinks they won that game has zero integrity as a man and should be embarrassed.

TJLang70: Got (expletive) by the refs.. Embarrassing. Thanks nfl

FrankGore (49ers running back): We need to start a fund for @TJLang70 . Dat dude gonna get fined to the moon! #RogerGoodellSucks

Locally, Gov. Scott Walker took to Twitter to comment on what many Wisconsinites are calling an atrocity.

“After catching a few hours of sleep, the #Packersgame is still just as painful. #Returntherealrefs” he tweeted from his @GovWalker account.

The replacement refs are obviously inferior, especially at critical points of the game. It is also obviously playing into the ref union's hands, showing how important they are.

You can have possession around the back of the another.

This is the result of unions. Until we wake up we will all be screwed one way or another by their selfish behavior. They are holding free markets hostage and we just witnessed the latest victim. As a Packer owner this is an absolute joke.

I have seen other games before this that concerns controversial end zone plays. Usually when two refs signal opposite calls, then they usually consult with one another before making the final call. This did not happen here! Haven't these two refs ever seen a football game before? My God!

The "catch" was immaterial. The same ref that called the touchdown blew the call for offensive pass interference on the play. If the penalty is called, it doesn't matter who got the ball because the game is over.

Right on brotha. Even if there was a non-call on that play, the drive was over.

In addition, that roughing the passer call which negated the first interception on the first play of that drive was extremely suspect. The Pack legitimately stopped them 3 times ... and they STILL scored?

Yes, the officiating was horrible - for the entire game - but if the Packers would have played better in the first half, they would not have been in that position at the end of the game. Just my 2 cents.

That is an easy comment to make having not played in the game. We're not the ones taking hits from 300 lb d-linemen who can run 5 sec 40s. Fact is, the offense did struggle against a tough defense. The same could be said about Seattle, but it really doesn't matter ... both defenses played their hearts out. The injustice is that the Packers played better, but the game was handed over to opposition by not just one, but a series of bad calls on the last drive of the game. ANYONE can score if the refs consistently make one-sided calls like that.

The Pack will bounce back from this, but the REAL REF's need to make a deal I can't even stand to watch football with all these bad calls.

I don't understand why he didn't just bat the ball away from everyone.

If you bat the ball away, you could bat it right into your opponent's arms. If you catch and hold onto the ball, you have an interception. Or in this case, if you catch the ball and hold on to it and THEN your opponent grabs on, too. . . you lose the game!

bat it into the end zone or out of bounds both were right next to him

So he should have been able to anticipate that a solid interception was going to be ruled a touchdown for the other team and should have batted the ball away (OUT of the end zone, not into, btw, they were in the end zone - hence the touchdown)?

I don't think they coach them that way, Dave.

The requirement that the Packers return to the field to play out an irrelevant extra point should have been met with mass public disobiedence before millions of people. In addition it may have fortunately caused emotional distress on the anti-union pigs.

heule, unlike when you and your buddies parade around in Madison or Wauwatosa protesting nonsense, the "mass public disobedience" you think would have been the right thing to do would have ended up costing the team, directly. Not every demonstration of dissatisfaction gets comped by taxpayers.

Someone need's to tell these replacement ref's that they are ref'ing Pro football, not High School or Collage game's, which is where these reef's are from. Someone explain the rule's to them. Last night's game was a joke, as far as I'm concerned and I'm sure million's of other's the Pack won the game. Get rid of these ref's NOW!!! They are so stupid, they have no idea what football even is.

Did anyone notice that when the two officials gave different signals(one touchdown and one touchback) the referee took the side of the white guy.

Not surprising to see you resort to race baiting.

Proof once again of the left's acceptance and tolerance. *sarcasm*
