Weather permitting, it is planned to begin cleaning and sealing the driving lanes and the west sidewalk of the Barstow Street Bridge on Monday, according to the city’s engineering department.

Work also includes joint repair and other miscellaneous repair.  Barstow Street will remain open to traffic and to pedestrians; however, there will be only one lane in each direction on the bridge and on the approaches to the bridge.  Work is expected to be complete by about Aug. 22.
