Tim O'brien Homes.... Isn't mark Neumann part owner of that company? 21 million in revenue? For a home builder.... Am I missing something here?

Yes, Neumann is a co-owner in the business. What's your question?

@ Sarah,
Don't you think in a recession/depression a home builder that took in 21 million in revenue is a bit off? Is that revenue over 1,3 years or since business opened it's doors? Am I missing something here?

It is for the year 2011. I am not shocked by it - I would be shocked if it was $21 million profit!
Why am I not shocked? If the company is big enough and the market is big enough, $21 million's attainable. http://www.livinglakecountry.com/lakecountryreporter/news/neumann-announces-home-building-expansion-j13s780-137903418.html

@ Sarah
A person should question the validity on the amount. Were there green grants applied to the company? Neumann certainly has connections but, i'm not buying the amount solely on home building. I am a business owner myself in that type of industry. Seems off!

The numbers are backed up by the company's certified public accountant; Baker Tilly. That is part of the requirement for submittal to Inc. 500. I am not sure what you mean by 'green grants'. The only funding for the company comes directly through banks loans and owner collateral.

You can go to the government website and do a search. There are grants for going green. I'm sure they know the loopholes. If you develop a new subdivision and you keep a percent up as farmland you can get tax subsidies also. Look into it. I'm not going into particulars.
