Ottilie “Tillie”  Orgas (nee Schmidt), of Waukesha, passed peacefully to her eternal home on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, while residing at AngelsGrace Hospice, at the age of 101.

Tillie was born in Ross, Poland on Feb. 9, 1911, a daughter of Edward and Marie Schmidt. She was the loving wife of Art Orgas for more than 40 years. Tillie was a longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha. She enjoyed volunteering at the YWCA for many years and growing roses. Tillie will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Art; parents, brother’s, Erich and Alexander; sister’s, Frieda Leipski and Gretchen Jensen.

The visitation for Tillie will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the noon funeral service on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Larry Gates will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
