WAMI Rising Star nominee and local award-winning singer/songwriter, Becca Richter, will debut her new Nashville single and music video on The Morning Blend television show November 19th.  Richter’s new single “You’re the One, Wedding Song” was recorded in Nashville, TN  with producer Denny Martin and top Nashville studio musicians whose credits include Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, Wynonna Judd, Dolly Parton, Mark Chesnut  and more.   Richter’s video also has important local ties as it was filmed in Waukesha, famed hometown of Les Paul and most recently named a Gibson Guitar Town.  Viewers will recognize the popular Waukesha riverfront, Retzer Nature Center and local hotspot, The Steaming Cup.  Richter, a native of Waukesha and a student at the University of Mobile, has been a main stage act for Freeman Friday Night Live, performed at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville TN, opened for Craig Morgan at the Waukesha County Fair as part of the Top Singer competition and performed at Lichterfest for an audience of 20,000 in Gmuden, Austria after winning TRS Video of the Year.  Upcoming performances include:  Waukesha Underground Radio (Nov. 20, 5pm); Montecito Ristorante (Nov. 24, 7-10pm); 88 Keys Piano and Martini Lounge (Dec. 19, 6-9pm & Dec. 27, 7:30-10:30pm); The Steaming Cup (Dec. 28, 7-9pm); Milwaukee’s Winterfest (Dec. 29 & 30; 4pm).
